A healthy society will be an essential component of a swift recovery from the recession. Both Government and the private sector acknowledge the need to tackle public health issues, and this report reveals a number of examples of best practice in commitment to employee wellness, including case study material from household names such as Nestlé. Reform’s new paper will look at how we can both encourage more of this activity and draw on the key elements of its success to improve health service delivery.
On Monday 30th March, Reform will be hosting a panel discussion, commencing at 11am, followed by a Q&A session. The event will be followed by lunch which will be served at 12.15pm.
Speakers at the event include: Lord McKenzie of Luton, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Department for Work and Pensions; Rupert Maitland-Titterton, Head of Public Affairs, Nestlé UK; and Nick Bosanquet, Professor of Health Economics at Imperial College London and Consultant Director, Reform. Andrew Haldenby, Director of Reform, will chair the event. The event will take place in the William Sangster Room at Central Hall Westminster (Storeys Gate, Westminster, London, SW1H 9NH).
